Epiphone Dot Limited Edition Reviews 5

I came across this guitar when my friend had told me he had seen it in Pruegger's music. I went to check it out as I was looking for a decent guitar to use for jazz. I paid $700 canadian for this unit as well.

I really, really like the tone quality you get with it's vintage humbucks, they give the Dot a nice, warm jazz tone but they don't hold back when you need some serious crunch! It has a very nice low action setting which allows you move very quickly along the frets when playing killer riffs too.

The toggle switch is a bit loose, but other than that I really don't have any other dislikes.

I belive that Korea really dunnit this time! It is really good quality guitar, with a very nice overall construction. I love the sea-foam green color too!

I would say that if you can't swing the lofty price of a Gibson ES-335, this guitar is an excellent alternative!
